What this website and our leaders' calendar app collect, and what we do with it. The short version: very little, and we never sell it.

This website
You can read every page without telling us anything. The site doesn't set cookies, and there are no ads.
- Visit counts. Cloudflare, which hosts the site, counts visits for us with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It shows us totals, like how many people read each page, without cookies and without following you to other sites. Like any web host, Cloudflare also handles your IP address to deliver pages and keep the site safe.
- Fonts. The site's fonts come from Google Fonts, so your browser gets them from Google's servers, and Google sees your IP address.
- Calendar switches. If you turn on "Lion or Tiger?" or "Show Troop 3054 events" on the Calendar page, your browser remembers that on your device. It isn't sent to us. With the troop switch on, your browser also loads Troop 3054's public calendar from my.troop3054.org.
- Calendar apps. The Subscribe and Add buttons hand our public calendar to your calendar app, like Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook. That app's own privacy policy covers it from there.
When you send us a note
The contact form asks for your name and email, and if you like, a phone number and your child's grade. It goes through Formspree, a form service, which emails it to pack leaders and keeps a copy under its own privacy policy. We use it only to answer you.
Please don't include anything about your child that you wouldn't put in an email.
Joining the pack
The Join links take you to Scouting America's online registration at my.scouting.org. We don't collect registration details on this site. Scouting America's privacy policy covers what you enter there.
Our leaders' calendar app
Pack leaders add events at my.pack3054.org, and only people on the pack's leader list can sign in. For each leader it keeps a name, an email address and what they're allowed to change, plus a record of who changed which event and when.
Sign-in codes go out by email through Resend. Codes and sign-ins are stored only in scrambled form, and a code stops working after 30 minutes. The app sets one cookie, which keeps a leader signed in. When a leader steps away, their access is turned off right away.
Photos and children
We don't post photos of Cub Scouts without their family's permission, and we never name or tag a child. This site uses drawings instead of photos.
The site is meant for parents and other adults, and we don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
